Nathan Seckinger

Nathan Seckinger is a theorist of magical and animist philosophies with an educational background in ancient philosophy and comparative world religions and a professional background in library reference and community centre development. His diverse volunteer background includes pioneering work on transgender visibility and queer youth leadership, earning him a photo placement in the 2006 Encyclopedia of Saskatchewan and a Man of the Year Award in 2008. In 2017, he received a full scholarship from the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council for transdisciplinary MA studies on the non-Cartesian ontology of religious and paranormal phenomena. His research explores relations between perception, reality, and causality, focusing on how experience and temporal order emerge from structured fields of material possibility rather than a pre-given world.
